Field + Supply, a Modern Maker Craft Fair
Over a span of three fairs, we tripled the attendance (from 3,000 to about 9,000) by focusing on media sponsors, regional press and targeted national public relations efforts. As a result of a national feature in House Beautiful, visitors from across the country and abroad traveled to this small upstate community. We negotiated with local media outlets to trade advertising in exchange for visibility at the fair, allowing for marketing throughout the important local communities generating goodwill as well as long lasting support. Highlighting vendors beautiful products and shining attention on individuals also proved a winning tactic.
Carrier and Company
Nationally recognized interior designers Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller had never retained a public relations consultant. In 2019, they brought in SBCO to help launch their first licensed collection, with Century Furniture. Two years and three more licensed collections later, we have garnered over millions off impressions in press mentions as well as developed webinars to engage designers with their products. We are always strategic creating a steady cadence of product press, personal engagements, and feature stories in national and regional media outlets.
The Perfect Kitchen, book by Waterworks founder Barbara Sallick
Launching in March 2020 did not hinder The Perfect Kitchen’s success. In addition to securing multiple feature stories in print and digital media outlets, SBCO conceived and initiated the brand’s first IGTV series; replicating the personal engagement of a book signing. In the Kitchen with Barbara, has been a huge success for the book sales as well as brand engagement and client development.
